About our European Projects Office

Our European Projects Office was created in mid 2010 as a strategic bet of Gradiant towards the participation in cooperative research and innovation activities at EU level. Nearly fifteen years after, Gradiant counts over 44 participations in FP7, H2020 and Horizon Europe projects, some of them as coordinator. Throughout these years Gradiant has established itself as a competitive RTO at EU level, and an innovation lighthouse at national level. Additionally, we have positioned ourselves as an active player across the ICT sector within a number of European Innovation Alliances, Industrial Associations, European Innovation Partnerships and Technology Platforms.

We are committed to keep along this track and want to address new exciting challenges and opportunities ahead of us, but we need help.

What are we looking for

We are looking for someone who can help us grow thanks to their experience and participation in forums related to public research and innovation programs at European level, helping us to continue to grow and position ourselves as a reference in our areas of expertise.

Your main responsabilities will be:

• Management of the portfolio of forums of interest and coordination of Gradiant's participation in them to maximize performance, seeking technical or managerial support as needed.
• Active participation in the processes of shaping work programs and strategic R&D&i agendas within the scope of the forums of interest.
• Participation in relevant events and development of strategic contacts at national and international level.
• Preparation of documentation to be presented in working groups and relevant events.
• Report the organization the identified opportunities and strategic positioning and propose actions.
• Contribute to the increase of R&D&i grants of the center through lobbying and networking activities in strategic forums.
• Support to the European Projects Office, technical areas and management in the preparation of strategic proposals.
• Support in the management of strategic projects

What we want from you

• +3 years of experience performing the functions described previously.
• English (C1). 
• Participation in national and international forums and associations, as well as in the dynamization of projects for at least 3 years. 
• Knowledge of national and European R&D policies.
• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related studies.

Other skills to be considered

• Interest in the development and integration of systems that combine heterogeneous hardware and software.
• Master's Degree in R&D&I European subsidies management. 
• Negociation, adaptability, strategic thinking and organisational skills.

💶 Salary: From 34.000€SBA + % variable depending on your knowledge, experience and desire!
